The Union Meeting of the Flint River Association of Alabama will meet with Flint River Primitive Baptist Church starting on Friday before the 4th Sunday, April 20, 2007 and will continue on Saturday and Sunday April 21, and April 22, 2007. Usually this series of meetings include morning, afternoon, and evening services on Friday and Saturday, and Sunday morning. Lunch and supper are normally provided on Friday and Saturday and lunch on Sunday.  The services begin each morning as follows:  Friday 10:30 am, Saturday 10:00 am and Sunday 10:30.

Note: Flint River Church is planning a worship service on Thursday night April 19, 2007 before the Union meeting at 6:30 pm.

The last Association Meeting of the Flint River Association of Alabama was held with Flint Rive Primitive Baptist Church beginning on Friday before the 1st Sunday in October 2006. (September 29, 30 and October 1, 2006)   Next Association meeting is scheduled for Briar Fork Primitive Baptist Church, beginning on Friday before the 1st Sunday in October. (October 5, 6 and 7, 2007)

To reach Flint River Church: Go about 10 miles East of Huntsville on U.S. 72 to Moontown Rd., Left on Moontown Rd., for about 1 mile to the Church on the Right.

To reach Briar Fork Church: Take Highway 231 North from Huntsville to Hazel Green; turn left (West) on West Limestone Road and go about three miles to Briar Fork Road; turn right (North) and go about 1/2 mile to Church on the left.

To reach Hurricane Church: Take Highway U.S. 72 from Huntsville east to Ryland Pike; turn left, continue east through Maysville (four way stop) to Hurricane Creek Road; turn left (North), continue until the intersection with County Lake Road; turn left, go 200 yards; turn right on Hurricane Road; drive approximately two miles to the church on the right. Or from Scottsboro, take U.S. 72 west; continue through Gurley to Brock Road (near large curve to the left in U.S. 72); turn right on Brock Road, continue to the four way stop in Maysville; turn right at the four way stop and continue as from four way stop in directions from Huntsville.
