Introduction
I'm looking at alternate accelerator encoders.
The first step is to document what we've got and then
run a few experiments.
Initial testing
I did a quick fit test and Ohmed out the accelerator pins.
The intial test indicates the cleaned, encoder still works:
After this first test, I've taken the potentiometer cover off
and used JB Weld to anchor the ethernet patch cord to the case.
Once the JB Weld sets, I'll use a standard, RJ45 socket to breakout the
signal lines and measure the voltages.
